it was very sad to here of the passing of avery good friend IVAN MAUGER of whom i was very close to during the 1970's when he rode for the SWINDON ROBINS AND EXETER FALCONS ,he along with BARRY BRIGGS .RONNIE MOORE AND PHIL CRUMP made the sport of speedway the most thrilling and entertaining venue on the sporting calender ,and i got very involved when i came to australia in the 80's to find all the new and up and coming riders of which the previous stars had trained to make them pro's as were . i send my condolences to his wife raye and their wonderful family ,and to ivan you rest in peace my friend we will always be thinking of you you were a legend ......
