I would like to add mine and my wife's tribute to such a great man. We were lucky enough to be Belle Vue fans when Ivan came in 69. We met him several times during his Belle Vue days. A nice,friendly and polite man, as well as a brilliant rider and team man. I consider him to be the one person who brought the word professionalism into speedway. There will never, in my opinion be another rider like him. Our thoughts and sympathies at this time to all his family and friends. Thanks for all the memories I have of him over the years. The King is dead, long live the King.
