I was fortunate to meet Ivan through training schools and even more fortunate to stay at his house in 96 racing in his Golden Helmet Series. The 6 individual Titles that most people know about is such a small part of his overall success and stature in the sport. He is #1 by a long way. He and his family were so kind. I raced for years and my greatest achievement in Speedway was meeting Ivan. My condolences to his family. Speedway will never be the same, and there will never be another Ivan.
