I started attending Speedway at Coventry in 1968 aged 13 and remain a speedway fan still. I saw Ivan ride many times for each of this British League teams and at individual events including World Finals. He was thrilling, and spectacular as a rider. As a member of the St Johns Ambulance Brigade on duty at Coventry Stadium I got to meet/talk to him on a number of occasions. He was an amazing man. He reinforced my love of speedway that has given me so many fantastic experiences in my life. Thank you Ivan. RIP
