I was privileged to see Ivan race many times and was present at some of his world championships wins. He oozed professionalism and at times seemed untouchable, uncatchable and unbeatable. Above all else he seemed to eat, drink and live speedway. I was truly saddened to hear of his dreadful illness and, of course, his passing. RIP champ.
