Such a sad loss to his family and the world of speedway. I had the honour of seeing him ride many times including one of my life long memories when my Dad took me to Wembley in 1972 to see Ivan win the World Title. Little did I know that years later he would be training my son at his academies in UK and New Zealand and showing us around the Christchurch museum where we saw the gold bike. Such an inspiring and genuine man. He was the greatest role model possible. Rest in peace Ivan.
