I was privileged to see Ivan race for Belle Vue when I first went to Speedway in 1969/70 and I have been going ever since. In that time I have not seen another rider with his determination and professionalism. He was simply on another level to everyone else. No one will ever match his achievements in Speedway. RIP Ivan you will be sadly missed.
