My uncle got me into speedway from the age of 10 at the County Ground Exeter. I remember the team we had, MAUGER, STEVE KOPPE, SCOTT AUTRY, VACLAV VERNER, PETER PRINSLOO, JAN VERNER, STEVE REGELING, 1970s, you were always great to watch,and also led led us to to the Gulf Oil British League title. You will be sadly missed by all speedway fans alike, a true icon and ambasader to the sport. May you rest in speedway heaven john
