Like all true speedway fans I was saddened to hear that one of speedway's truly greats has passed away. I was privileged to see the great Ivan Mauger in his speedway career and we will probably never see someone ever again. It was a pleasure to meet the man at Ashfield where he signed his book for me and chatted about some of his career. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Lost but never to be forgotten.
