I spent my formative years in Birmingham but used to visit Ashton on a regular basis and a trip to Belle Vue became a vital part of any visit! At the end of the 60’s and into the 70’s I was mesmerised, as were many others, by the talents of Ivan as he led the team to many wins. I hope that all those riders and fans around the world that got to see and meet Ivan will remember him with fondness! Rest In Peace!
