of the many sporting heroes ive had over the years ivan was number 1. first saw him in 1966 and over the years followed him to many trophy wins. met him many times and he was a great man as well as a great rider. I have quite a bit of sports memorabillia and my favourite is a diamonds race jacket worn by ivan in the 60s , its signed and framed and on my wall at home. r.i.p. king kiwi ivan mauger, my deepest sympathy to raye and his lovely family.
