Like many I am saddened that Ivan has passed away. He truly was a giant in terms of his achievements in speedway. Always looked forward to his visits north of the border where he locked horns with our Glasgow Tigers' riders and his appearances for Great Britain. What I do remember especially was his willingness to engage with us ordinary fans and his untiring promotion of our sport. I fondly remember a Glasgow Tigers Supporters Club Dance (around Christmas - early '70's?) where Ivan and Raye were surprise guests. It showed that while he was indeed a World Champion, he still had time for us ordinary fans. My condolences to ay and the rest of the Mauger family. RIP Ivan thanks for many memories
